Sadık Meral was born in Çankırı at the year of 1954. In 1979, he graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry. His service at Turkish Armed Forces started at 1980 with the rank of lieutenant dentist. He got his doctorade degree at orthodontics from Gulhane military medical academy, center for dental sciences at 1989. At 1998, he retired from Turkish Armed Forces with the rank of lieutenant colonel dentist. He is married and has three sons.
